Use the template below to request a new feed from Interactive Brokers:

Submit a Support Case to Orion

• Log into Orion Connect and open the Support app.
  • Click the  button within the Support app.
  • Select the Service Request tab.

Service Request Details:

• Support Service Team: Reconciliation (if you are working directly with the Onboarding team, select Onboarding as the Support Service Team instead.)
• Advisor #: populate with your firm's Orion advisor number
• Subject: New Interactive Brokers feed - [insert firm name]
• Description:
  • We have contacted Interactive Brokers to request a new feed of our data to Orion. Please initiate an internal process to prepare this feed for our database.
    • IB Master Number: to be sent to sme-data@orion.com from Interactive Brokers
    • Do you intend to share this feed with any other database(s) within Orion? YES or NO (If yes, please explain)
    • Three sample account numbers: [enter three account numbers expected in the feed]
    • New Accounts Process: Auto-Exclude

• Click Submit

Interface Notes

• Requests not completed within 60 days are subject to cancellation. Custodial delays and other special circumstances may allow for more time as necessary.
• Please note: Data cannot be applied to your database until Orion receives your IB Master Number.
•  Australian clients must transfer their accounts from IBKR LLC to IBKR Australia.
  • IBRK Australia accounts are eligible for the feed; however, they are not automatically enabled for Orion when that conversion is complete.
  • To obtain these accounts in the daily download, you must e-mail salesengineering@interactivebrokers.com when your IBAU account is open and Interactive Brokers will enable the feed for the new account.
• Rep mapping may be available. Accounts with foreign addresses cannot be mapped.
• IMPORTANT NOTE: This feed does contain name files; however, because SSNs are not provided, Auto-Householding is NOT available. The feed must be set to Auto-Exclude new accounts, and it is the firm's responsibility to manually create the account shells.
• Approximate time to complete (start to finish): 7-10 business days from when Orion receives all applicable information
