Compile Account List

• In a password-protected document, compile a list of account numbers to be included in the initial data submission from Baird.

 

 

Contact RW Baird

• Use the template below to request a new feed from RW Baird.

Message: Please accept this email as authorization to begin securely sending data associated with our firm, [insert firm name here], to Orion Advisor Services, LLC. A list of Baird account numbers to be included in the initial data transmission is attached for your reference. Once this request has been processed, please notify [insert Firm contact email here] and sme-data@orion.com. When corresponding, please include our firm/company name and firm/company unique ID associated with our Orion file sets.

 

 

Submit a Support Case to Orion

• Log into Orion Connect and Open the Support app 
• Click the   button within Support.
• Select the Service Request tab.

 

Service Request Details

• Support Service Team: Reconciliation (If you are working directly with the Onboarding team, select Onboarding as the Support Service Team instead)
• Advisor #: populate with your firm's Orion advisor number
• Subject: New RW Baird feed - [insert firm name]
• Description:
  • We have contacted RW Barid to request a new feed of our data to Orion. Please initiate an internal process to prepare this feed for our database.
    • Unique Firm ID: [to be sent to sme-data@orion.com from RW Baird]
    • Do you intend to share this feed with any other database(s) in Orion? YES or NO (If yes, please explain)
    • Three Sample Accounts: [enter three account numbers expected in the feed]
    • New Accounts Process: Auto-Exclude
• Click Submit

 

 

 

Interface Notes

• Requests not completed within 60 days are subject to cancellation. Custodial delays and other special circumstances may allow for more time as necessary. 
• Please Note: Name files are not included in this feed, so automatic account creation, rep mapping, and auto-householding is not supported. It is your responsibility to manually create the account shells in Orion.
• This download format is eligible for sleeving.
• Approximate time to complete: 28+ business days once Orion receives all applicable information.
