Overview

Orion offers four options for bringing in your heldaway accounts and assets into Orion Connect: ByAllAccounts, Pontera (formerly known as FeeX), Electra, and Akoya. Use these feeds to bring in accounts or assets that are not supported through a direct feed or if your firm is not the rep of record. Review the table below to decide which option best fits your firm's needs.

Please Note: A direct feed into Orion is always preferred over a third-party aggregator. If the direct feed you need is unavailable, review How to Request a New Direct Feed Relationship for instructions on requesting a new vendor relationship.

***Name files allow Orion to auto-create accounts. When a Name file is not provided, the feed is set to Auto Exclude, and you must create account shells manually. For more information on creating account shells, review Step 1 - Create New Account in How to Create and Maintain Manual Accounts.

Aggregation Errors

Aggregation errors are possible, and it is your responsibility to monitor them. Follow the below table for the proper steps to take if an aggregation error occurs on your heldaway accounts.

Orion assists with uploading transactions for 90 days beyond the date of aggregation failure. All history must be provided to Orion on the Transaction Add custom import excel template within the Custom Imports app . Review How-To and Troubleshooting: Transaction Add Import for more information on filling out this template. Please be advised that an additional charge may be required depending on the amount of history.

After 90 days, the account is considered "Advisor Maintained". At this point, your options are to maintain these accounts on your own, cancel the accounts in Orion, or utilize Orion's Professional Services Team to assist with reconciling the accounts for an additional charge.
