BodyThe Orion Custom Indexing web component is visible (although not necessarily accessible; more below) to all Orion clients. Review answers to some of the most common questions regarding the Custom Indexing Tool below. Q: What is the Custom Indexing Dashboard? A: Welcome to the Custom Indexing Dashboard—your central hub for all things Custom Indexing. Access the Dashboard in Portfolio Audit > Proposals > Custom Indexing. The Dashboard displays all of your completed and incomplete historical Custom Indexing sessions. Once you take the first step in a Custom Indexing workflow (new proposal or existing account/registration), your session is automatically saved and ready for you to pick up anytime here on the Dashboard. Need to jump back in? Just hit “Resume Session” and continue right where you left off. If you’ve optimized your portfolio, your session will be marked as “Completed,” and your PDF Proposal will be just a click away. If you'd like to tidy up, easily remove a session with the “Delete” button. Ready to kick off a new proposal? Just select the “Create New Proposal” button to get started. Your session will automatically save and wait for you on the Dashboard whenever you’re ready to dive back in. Q: How do I access the tool? A: There are three ways to launch the Custom Indexing tool on an existing account:1) Portfolio View > 3 Button Dropdown (top right of page) > Custom Indexing 2) Portfolio Audit > Account or Registration tab > right-click on the applicable account or reg > Custom Indexing 3) Portfolio Audit > Account or Registration tab > Actions > Custom Indexing Q: Who has access to the tool? A: You are able to see the “Custom Indexing” option within the Orion experience. However, only users of firms that have signed a Custom Indexing subadvisory agreement launches into the actual tool. Q: What happens if my firm hasn’t signed a subadvisory agreement? A: When a firm hasn’t signed a subadvisory agreement, you see a pop-up box displaying a marketing overview of Orion Custom Indexing and the web component. Q: How will this affect Advisor Portal users (e.g. OPS)? A: Advisor Portal users are able to see this feature from Portfolio View. OPS advisors are only able to see the marketing content until the Custom Indexing tool is more widely available on OPS at a later point in time. Q: Can you allocate to a new account from this tool? A: No, these launch points allow you to generate a proposal and/or send a LPOA DocuSign to the client. If you want to set up a new account, you must go through the Portfolio View Trading launch point or use the Sleeving tool. Q: Are there user level permissions available for this tool? A: No, all users at the firm level users will either see the marketing material or have access to the tool depending on whether they've assigned the addendum. Q: Who should I contact if I have additional questions? A: Please reach out to customindexing@orion.com for questions, demo requests, or additional information.
